These fantastic locking tongue buckles present a myriad of opportunities for makers of all types of leather and fabric items Use an oval punch (3/8") to make the holes, these buckles work perfectly without being locked, just as any other buckle, but slip a mini-padlock through the tongue and you have a non-removable buckle. Ideal for purses, backpacks, and bags. It won't be like Fort Knox, but it will stop casual peeking as well as make it darned near impossible for pickpockets.
