Stainless steel double capped rivets with solid brass posts

We haven't offered rivets for a long time, but we have had these manufactured for us, we've tested them by the hundreds in our shop, and are very pleased to be able to offer a high quality rivet once again.

These rivets offer the best of both worlds. Double caps are stainless steel, but the inside post is solid brass. Stainless, as you know, is ideal for any situation. It won't rust, is very hard to corrode, and looks great. However, stainless is hard to set, so these are all solid brass posts. They set like a dream, and none of the brass shows once the rivet is set.

We give the diameter of the caps (both are the same on each rivet) and the length of the posts. Your proper post length should be slightly more than the total thickness of the material you are riveting. If in doubt, a good starting point is the 9mm cap 8mm post rivet. We find we use that for leather in our workshop 90% of the time.
